I am trying to teach myself how to go about fixing windows error codes today. I know basically how to read them and how to look them up. When you have a problem you open up your start menu and then you right click on my Computer and select Manage my Computer from the pop down menu. I go to the event viewer and I find a bunch of error messages. They have differend codes by the name of them. A yield sign means that it is not all that serious, but if it has a stop sign by it then you know that is something that you need to take a really good look at. Of course there is a lot more to it than that and one error code could not mean what it seems to mean. In fact the error code could just be an erroneous one. The code might mean something that you can figure out or it might mean something that is one of a half dozen things, or it might not mean a blessed thing.
Of course mostly I am interested in learning how to fix computers and networks as a career. I know a guy who is a couple of years older than me and he was able to get a really good job by learning how to do computer stuff from a community college. He is only about 25 and he has a really good job and a new car that I could not think about buying. I have been trying to figure out how to learn this stuff while I am working during the day. I need to have some money coming in just like any other person, but I can figure out that I am not making a big enough paycheck now.
